Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Uruguay for Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps in Uruguay showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps on a unified platform.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a relatively stable download pattern, starting with around 4.2K downloads at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at 4.6K in late July. Active users grew steadily from approximately 194K to over 237K by the end of September.

For Google Maps Go, downloads fluctuated between 2K and 2.5K weekly, with a slight increase toward the quarter’s end. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting at just under 1M and growing to over 1.07M by the end of the period.

Google Earth experienced a gradual increase in downloads during the quarter, reaching over 1K in early August. Active users showed a slight increase, maintaining numbers between 3.9K and 4.7K throughout the quarter.

The app Telepeaje uy had a varied download performance, with a notable peak of 1K downloads mid-September. However, there is no active user data available for this app.

Lastly, Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at over 1K in late August. Active users also increased, starting at around 1.3K and peaking at nearly 1.9K in mid-August.
